CPL Story Time
Spark your preschool-and-up children’s imaginations with an engaging storytime hour with the Children’s Preservation Library! Open to both members and non-members.
We offer two story time sessions each month featuring the same books, giving you the flexibility to choose the time that works best for your schedule.
Our library has a very quaint space. Select your story time date below to reserve your spots!
What to Expect
Interactive storytelling of specially curated children’s literature from the rare book gems CPL specializes in to new classics loved by all! Simple activities and visiting/play time to follow.

We offer two story time sessions each month, featuring the same books, one morning and one afternoon option.
Time
Morning: 10-11. Afternoon: 3:30-4:30. (30 min approx activities with playtime)

Story Time Policies

We would like to provide a safe space for everyone to come free from the worry of catching a sickness. For this reason, we ask Story Time attendees NOT to participate if they have any of the following symptoms:
Active cold symptoms (runny nose, coughing, sore throat, etc.)
Fever in the last 24 hours
Vomiting/gastric distress in the last 24 hours
Unexplained rash or infection
Thank you for respecting everyone else present at Story Time by strictly following this policy.

We ask adults present to please silence and PUT AWAY their phones. We encourage you to either participate in the interactive portions, or please stand quietly by and enjoy watching your kids learn and play!

If your child becomes fussy or disruptive, you are encouraged to step out of the room to calm them down and return when they are ready.

If TCAPS calls a snow day, the Children’s Preservation Library and all events hosted will be canceled as well. Cancellations outside of this will be shared via email/social media as needed.
