Grab and Go Five-in-a-Row

Snuggle! On the couch, in a hammock, around the table, or on a blanket in the shade, and let the Five-in-a-Row (FIAR) parental manual lead your exploration of specific, beloved, children's books in a surprisingly thorough way. You'll cover the "academic subjects" on your to-do list (history, geography, science, English, and math) more richly than you'd dream, going to fascinating places and times: the Arctic, Renaissance Venice, the cotton fields of a slave girl, China's Yangtze River, Russia, 1910's France, the Spice Islands, etc. Plus, you'll bask in art and the beauty of language, a crucial element of education!
Ready-to-Go Home With You! We make it easy. Our take-home totes have the main book explored in each FIAR unit, plus many superlative "living books" for the many topics discovered throughout.
How to Get Started!
1) Purchase your FIAR manual, for the age level you’re guiding at www.FiveinaRow.com. Our totes won't make sense without you owning FIAR's brilliant manuals. “Before Five-in-a-Row is for ages 2-4, while FIAR Vols. 1-3 are for ages 5-8. FIAR also offers supplementary resources, such as Bible & Character aids. (If you would like a free tour of the library during hours, we have the FIAR manuals for you to look over in person!)
2) Join our library, choosing a membership level which includes Five-in-a-Row totes. Or, select FIAR-Only.

Classical Conversations
Special Support for Classical Conversations (CC) Families - Easy Enrichment and Deep Engagement!
For those doing CC, we can make your job much easier by providing wondrous support materials for your children--of the very highest quality, and hand-curated--without even adding a stop to your weekly routine! You needn't even visit the library! Instead, the take-home book-bins can be delivered right to your weekly CC meetings (and then swapped between the library members in your group). Just join the library online, and let us know your group leader (while slots are still available).
Working with local CC leaders, we have pored over the CC themes--in history, math, science, art, etc.--and pre-packed top-notch living books on these topics for each CC week. This has been very popular, and families say the students' summary CC reports deeply reflect what they've vicariously through the living books. So, they're a terrific aid to deepening the memory and content work...in an exciting and encouraging way!
NOTE 1: Due to high cost of acquiring top-flight books for many CC groups, we need 3-4 library-member families per CC group to make the service feasible. So, bring your CC friends for a tour of the library, to see in person how "living books" carry the children even more deeply into learning...easily and enjoyably for you & them!
NOTE 2: This same high cost of development means CC-support-tote users commit to at least the 12-month membership option, for each school year CC-totes are used. (Actual cost is much higher yet.) You'll see the power of this lifelong investment!
